Numbers 23:19 – “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Married Living – 1 Peter 3:1-7
- Marriage is “a covenant union designed to strengthen the capability of each partner to carry out the plan of God in their lives.” (Genesis 1:26-28, 2:15-24)
- We have to look to God and His Word to determine how the covenant of marriage should operate.
- God is the head of Christ; Christ is the head of man; man (husband) is the head of (a) woman (wife). (1 Corinthians 11:3)
