Numbers 23:19 – “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Marriage Living: Part 2 – 1 Peter 3:1-7
- Ephesians 5:25-33
- Two rules of the marriage covenant – Husbands love your wife; Wife respect your husbands.
- A husband ought to sacrifice for the benefit of his wife.
- A husband should be a transforming agent in the life of his wife for good (not evil).
- This is done through living, teaching and modeling the Word.
- a husband should value his wife to the same degree that he values himself.
- The primary way a wife respects her husband is through her submission.
