In 2022, God, I Will Trust in you.
Trust – to rely on and have confidence in, to believe.
- Trust in God’s Power and Strength – Psalm 18:1-3
- Trust in God’s Protection and Salvation (Deliverance) – Psalm 9:9-10, Psalm 40:1-3, Isaiah 12;2-6
- Trust in God’s Unfailing Love and Mercy – Psalm 52:7-9, Psalm 147:10-11
- Trust in God’s “Track Record” – Psalm 22:4-5
- Trust in God’s Revealed Truth (His Word) – Psalm 18:30, Psalm 119:42-45, 160, Proverbs 30:5
We will not trust in ourselves (2 Corinthians 1:8-11) or in things (Psalm 20:7). But, we will trust in God with all of our heart. Our heart includes our emotions, our thoughts and our actions.
God should be the center of everything we do!
Results of Trusting in the LORD:
- Peace – Isaiah 26:3-4
- Prosperity – Jeremiah 17:7-8, Proverbs 28:25
- Security, protection from danger – Proverbs 29:25, Psalm 91:1-6
- Freedom from fear – Psalm 56: 1-4, 10-11
- Physical Life – Jeremiah 39:15-18
- Godly guidance – Proverbs 3:5-6
