Matthew 28: -18-20 – And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Go and make disciples
- Discipleship – the process of being a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Do the work of an evangelist

- Evangelist – someone who proclaims/preaches the good news/gospel of Jesus Christ.

- Do endure – Don’t give up
- Do speak the truth – Don’t believe the lies
- Do know who/want you are up against – Don’t be a casualty of spiritual war
Be a witness for Jesus Christ
- Act 1:8, 2
- Witness – one who tells what he or she has seen or personally experienced.
- A witness must speak
- 1 Timothy 4:12, Jeremiah 1: 8-9
- A witness must not lie
- A witness must remember who they are testifying for (Romans 1:16)
Action Step:
- Pray regarding Going, Doing and Being for God to help us in those areas.

Children’s Church begins September 1, 2024, in-person Children’s Church
Adult Bible Study We are excited about starting our next weekly small group study using Dr. Tony Evans’ book and study guide, The Power of God’s Names. We will meet on Thursdays from 7:00pm – 8:30pm eastern standard time on Zoom. We will watch the video together for the first part of the group (45 min) and then discuss and answer questions in the second half (45 min). Each day, we will do the individual Bible study lessons in the study guide. Similar to the previous Bible studies we did, this small group study is open to members and friends.

There is no cost to participate in the small group study. Your materials will be mailed to you. If you are interested in joining the small group study and/or would like to invite a friend or family member to the small group, please complete The Power of God’s Names small group form by August 23, 2024.
