Fresh Start Christian Church Belief Statement – Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father according to the Scriptures (Luke 1:26-33).
- Why did Jesus have to come in the flesh? SPREAD
- S – To make the ultimate Sacrifice for our sin
Jesus’ redemptive work reversed the consequence of Adam’s sin and restored people to the favor of God.

- P – To fulfill the Prophecies
- Prophet – a person chosen by God to speak on His behalf
- Prophecy – God’s divine plan spoken to man.
