Who Do You Say Jesus Is?
Fresh Start Christian Church Belief Statement – Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father according to the Scriptures (Luke 1:26-33).
- Why did Jesus have to come in the flesh? S.P.R.E.A.D.
- S – To make the ultimate Sacrifice for our sin
- P – To fulfill the Prophecies
- R – To Reconcile us back to God
- E – to provide us with Eternal Life

God’s desire is for all men to be saved 1 Timothy 2:1-6
Believing in Jesus is not just about verbal or mental affirmation. To believe in Jesus is to trust Jesus, to rely on Jesus, to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Eternal life is not just about our life in the age to come, but the quality of life now in the present. Eternal life is a present blessing available to all who submit to God’s reign through Jesus Christ.
