God Knows My Real Feelings– Luke 10:38-42
- Sometimes our feelings can be a distraction from what is most important in our lives; our relationship with God. (Matthew 20:28)
- We need to be deliberate and intentional about spending time with God.
- Acknowledge the feeling.
- Give it over to God. (Matthew 11:28-30,1 Peter 5:6-7)
- Hear what God has to say about the feeling and/or the situation.
- Sad – Psalm 30:5
- Worried – Matthew 6:25-34
- Afraid – 2 Timothy 1:7
- Anxious – Philippians 4:6-7
- Ashamed – Romans 8:1
- Lonely- Deuteronomy 31:6
Action Steps:
Read and meditate on the following scriptures: 1 John 3:20b (memory verse), Set aside time to sit at Jesus’ feet.

Children’s Church in-person every Sunday at 10:30am Children’s Church
Adult Bible Study Dr. Tony Evans’ book and study guide, The Power of God’s Names. We will meet on Thursdays from 7:00pm – 8:30pm eastern standard time on Zoom, September 12th and run through October 17th.
Teen and Young Adult Bible Study
We are excited about starting our next weekly small group study, Kingdom Woman, by Dr. Tony Evans and Chrystal Evans Hurst. We will meet on Sundays from 6:30pm – 8:00pm eastern standard time on Zoom. We will watch the video together for the first part of the group (45 min) and then discuss and answer questions in the second half (45 min). The remainder of the week, we will do the individual Bible study lessons in the study guide. Like the previous Bible studies we did, this small group study is open to members and friends.

There is no cost to participate in the small group study. Your materials will be mailed to you.
