Numbers 23:19 – “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
The Living and Enduring Word – 1 Peter 1:22-2:3
- 1 John 4:21, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Psalm 119
- God’s Word brings LIFE to us. Hebrews 4:12, Isaiah 55:11, Isaiah 43:26
- The Bible is God-breathed and it is powerful. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- God’s Word will never end. Just like God is eternal, so is His Word. Psalm 119:89
- God’s Word does not change because He does not change.
- Not only did the living enduring Word cause us to be born again, but this Word also causes us to grow.
- The Word must be the final authority for every situation.
