A Heavenly Mindset: Philippians 3:15-4:9

Other Scriptures: Romans 16: 17-18, John 17:15-17, Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 5:20, Colossians 3:1-3

• • Rejoicing in the Lord ALWAYS.
  • Showing gentleness to all people (Proverbs 15:1)
  • Saying No to anxiety, Yes to prayer and peace.
  • Think on God and who He is.
  • Speak faith and thank God in advance.
  • Ask Him for wisdom and guidance on what to do (if anything)

• Then the Peace of God comes

• • Being intentional about EVERY thought (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
    • True – opposite of dishonest and unreliable things.
    • Noble – honorable and worthy of respect.
    • Just – right, confirmed by God’s Word, Conformed to God’s standards.
    • Pure – wholesome, not mixed with moral impurity.
    • Lovely – brings peace, not conflict.
    • Of Good Report – admirable, positive, and constructive, not negative and destructive.

• These thoughts are of virtue or excellent and are praise worthy.
